Andis Adds Michelle Worthy to its Global Education Team
Andis Co. recently brought on Michelle Worthy to its Global Education Team roster. Worthy is a 30-year global pet grooming professional, an Internationally Certified Master Groomer and world champion.
“We are excited to have Michelle’s robust experience and talent on the world-class Andis Global Education Team,” said Nicole Kallish, global education manager for Andis Animal in Sturtevant, Wis. “Offering the high-quality tools, resources and educators is a top priority for our organization, and she is one of the best. As we continue to expand our digital and in-person educational resources, our educators, like Michelle, will be at the center of our program’s success.”
Since 2013, Worthy has competed across the globe, earning first place in Sporting at the 2013 Hershey Groom Expo as well as multiple Best in Show awards. She previously served as captain of the winning Kentucky Grooming Team at the 2018 National Championship and has gone on to compete internationally in Taiwan and South Korea, becoming a world champion on the USA Model Dog Team.
Andis’ mission—to make education available and accessible—is brought to fruition by education team members stationed in more than 30 countries through digital resources like Andis Grooming College, according to officials. The college provides access to internationally renowned educators through smartphones and desktops.
