CIPS 2015 Sees Visitors From Around the Globe
The 19th China International Pet Show (CIPS 2015), held Nov. 4-7, 2015, at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, boasted 1,157 exhibitors, a 22 percent increase over 2014.
The trade show, organized by China Great Wall International Exhibition Co. Ltd. and NürnbergMesse GmbH, is billed as the largest pet and aquarium products show in the Asia-Pacific region and is a place for attendees to gain an overview of the market, discover new products and concepts, and establish new business contacts.
CIPS 2015 hosted international exhibitors from 22 countries and regions, accounting for 21 percent of the total number of exhibitors. Four hundred of the total exhibitors, or 35 percent, were in the aquarium products business. In total, there were 42,057 visitors to the show, with international visitors coming from 74 countries and regions.
CIPS 2015 hosted several events, such as GlobalPets Forum Asia, Pet Distributors’ Summit, Sino-Japan Pet Leaders Dialogue, China Aquatic Plant Masters Award Ceremony, China Aquarium Annual Awards Ceremony 2015, the launching ceremony of the World Ornamental Fish Championships, the National General Kennel Club China National Purebred Dog Super League Competition, and many others.
Ninety-two percent of respondents to the CIPS 2015 Exhibitor Survey reported that their achievements at the show included maintaining their current business network, while 87 percent said it was an opportunity to become acquainted with new customers.
