Check Out Super Bowl’s Best Pet Ads
Like it or not, it’s Super Bowl weekend. Even if you don’t care one bit about the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos, it’s going to be pretty hard to ignore the hoopla surrounding the National Football League’s 50th Big Game.
But you don’t have to love football to love the commercials, and there are plenty of pets in starring roles.
Honda has a great commercial with singing sheep—but the star for us was the adorable collie.
Axe, the men’s deodorant, shows young guys in a series of fun situations and highlights a bearded hipster with adorable kittens.
Hyundai creates Ryanville—with actor Ryan Reynolds populating an entire town. But keep your eyes on the road for Reynolds as a dog walker at the climax of the ad.
Mountain Dew has come up with a really fun commercial. OK … it’s not strictly an animal, but PuppyMonkeyBaby does feature a cute pug in a very different way!
Heinz scores the winner during the big game with its stampede of dachshunds.
These are just the commercials in the big faceoff between Cam Newton and Peyton Manning. Don’t forget about the Puppy Bowl XII on Animal Planet, which paws off at 2.30 p.m. Eastern on Sunday. That is where our hands-down winner of Super Bowl Sunday commercials will air—Subaru is bringing back the Barkley family of golden retrievers cruising town in their Subaru.
