The list of attendees that have secured booth space at the new P3|Progressive Pet Products trade show, scheduled for Aug. 24-25 at Navy Pier in Chicago, is expanding.
Phillips Pet Food & Supplies, which carries more than 300 brands and services thousands of independent pet stores and specialty pet retailers across the U.S. Milwakee-based General Pet Supply, which operates six branches and carries more than 14,000 products from 120 manufacturers, also has confirmed its participation.
Among the manufacturers that already have secured booth space are Bentonite Performance Minerals, The Blissful Dog, Dog Life, DOGLINE, E&S, Evanger’s Dog & Cat Food, Home Pet Spa, Hyper Pet, Marchioro, Nature’s Logic, NutriLife Pet Products, PetSafe and Sophisticated Pup.
“We’ve been extremely pleased with the positive response we’ve received about the new show launch from industry veterans and emerging companies alike,” said Stacey Barrett-Brooks, show director, P3 | Progressive Pet Products. “The industry sees that this new show is definitely moving in to effectively fill a void in the Midwest marketplace and are excited to get in on the ground floor of an event with strong new business and growth potential.”
P3 says its goal is to bring the industry’s newest pet products from every sector of the industry to the Midwest region’s retailers.
According to event organizers, the show’s Incubator Feature Area, showcasing prototypes and product innovations from brand-new companies (less than two years in business) and inventors, will serve as a forum for new manufacturers and inventors to exchange ideas and receive feedback on their designs and as a way for retailers to get a sneak peek at the latest innovations and designs.
P3 also plans to spotlight technology, natural food and treats, interactive toys, safety certified products and Made in the USA resources, as well as exceptional educational programs and networking events, according to the organizers.
