Danish Pet Food Brand Kingsmoor Looks to Go International

Published:

Bent Ransborg, CEO and fonder of Kingsmoor pet food, with his dogs, is looking to make his brand an international one.

Without getting specific as to where, Bent Ransborg, CEO and founder of Kingsmoor, Denmark’s leading premium pet food brand, put the call out for distributors to help take his brand beyond Denmark into international markets.

Celebrating 10 years, Kingsmoor calls Langaa, Denmark, its corporate home, while all of its pet food and treats are produced in Oelgood, Denmark.

“As part of our continuing strategy for growth, we are now looking for distributors and partnerships in new markets,” Ransborg said.

Kingsmoor is currently found in pet specialty stores in Denmark and is exported to Sweden and Norway.

“Today’s pet food market is littered with all sorts of premium products,” Ransborg said. “We think the time is right to make our line of high-end pet food available to a broader audience.”

Kingsmoor’s grain-free dog and cat food is branded as Kingsmoor Pure; the company also makes regular dog food under the Original label and a line of dog treats marketed as MoorGoodies.

“We have optimized our organization and hired a new, highly experienced sales professional with expertise in the international pet food industry,” Ransborg said. “This sets the stage for our growth and international expansion.”
