Destination Pet to Acquire VitalPet

Destination Pet, a pet health care and services company, has plans to acquire VitalPet. VitalPet operates 24 veterinary hospitals in seven states.

“VitalPet aligns nicely with our commitment to provide the most comprehensive care to today’s pets,” said Shane Kelly, CEO of Destination Pet in Highlands Ranch, Colo. “This acquisition is a significant step in our growth strategy and highlights our commitment to delivering high quality care and integrated extending services focused on the total health and well-being of the pet.”

Destination Pet, which operates in 14 states, offers services such as veterinary medicine, overnight and day care, grooming and training.
