Dr. Catsby Launches Bowl to Prevent Whisker Fatigue
New York-based Catsby Inc. is launching its cat bowls at this year’s Global Pet Expo in Orlando, Fla., March 16-18. Attendees can visit the Dr. Catsby booth (5277) to learn more about the bowl, which is designed to put an end to cats’ mealtime misery.
Dr. Catsby will hold a lively press conference with cat style expert Kate Benjamin of Hauspanther, an online magazine for design-conscious cat people, on Thursday, March 17, at 4 p.m., at booth 5277. Participants are encouraged to drop by to celebrate the launch of Dr. Catsby’s cat bowl, learn more about the many benefits of the bowl, mix and mingle with other cat lovers, and meet a special furry guest, Mimi The Cat.
Whiskers are highly sensitive tactile hairs that help cats make their way through narrow openings and dark spaces. During mealtime, cats often are subjected to an affliction known as “whisker fatigue.” When whiskers are constantly forced into close contact with the sides of the bowl, it can be extremely painful, which is why many cats do not finish their food, according to the company.
Dr. Catsby’s bowls are designed to prevent whisker fatigue. The wide but shallow shape of the bowl provides easy access to food without pulling back the cat’s whiskers and causing discomfort. The stainless steel finish helps to protect against wash-proof bacteria, and the nonslip mat is great for stability. The product retails for $19.99.
“We are thrilled to launch and exhibit at this year’s Global Pet Expo trade show,” said Loren Kulesus, designer and inventor of Catsby Inc. “I believe pet owners must make the health and wellness of their feline companion a priority. Dr. Catsby’s bowl can bring added happiness to any cat that is lucky enough to use it!”
