Global Pet Expo Ranked Among Trade Show Executive “Gold 100”
Global Pet Expo officials announced that the expo was named to Trade Show Executive’s (TSE) “Gold 100” honoring the 100 largest shows that “Set the Gold Standard” for the trade show industry. Global Pet Expo, the only pet industry trade show honored, was ranked No. 61 among the small, exclusive list of trade shows that exceeded the size of thousands of other shows in exhibit space, exhibiting companies and attendance in 2015.
“Earning a coveted spot on TSE’s ‘Gold 100’ is a true testament to the tireless efforts of our tremendous team and our loyal attendees and exhibitors that have all made the show what it is today,” said Andy Darmohraj, American Pet Products Association's (APPA) executive vice president and COO. “Our continued growth in terms of show size and attendance has further solidified Global Pet Expo as the must-attend industry event of the year. To represent our great industry in this way is truly rewarding.”
APPA and Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA) will present Global Pet Expo March 22-24, 2017, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. The 2017 show will feature more than 1,200 companies from around the world, showcasing the latest and greatest products available for all types of pets including dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, small animals and horses, according to the organization. The show is the largest pet products trade show in the U.S., showcasing 16 football fields’ worth of pet products, more than 3,000 product launches and 150 first-time exhibiting companies, according to APPA.
