PetGiftBox Offers Support Nepal Gift Box to Aid Nepal Earthquake Victims

Published:

New York-based PetGiftBox, a subscription-based service that sends monthly boxes of hand-selected treats and toys to dog and cat owners, has created a Support Nepal Limited Edition PetGiftBox to support those affected by the earthquakes in Nepal. The gift box contains pet products made in the devastated region, and the company will donate a percentage of proceeds to Himalayan Dog Chew’s charity, MealandWaterforVictims.com, and World Animal Protection, organizations that are on the ground in Nepal providing immediate care and support.

Pet lovers can order a Support Nepal PetGiftBox at petgiftbox.com/nepal. Different levels of support are available: a $20 box that contains two unique Nepali pet products, and a $30 box that contains four. In addition to supporting the two charities with proceeds from the gift box, purchasing these Nepali pet products supports workers in the affected region so they can get back to providing for themselves and their families.

“When tragedy strikes in the world, it’s important for us to do all we can to help,” said Andrew Lanter, director of business development and strategic partnerships at PetGiftBox. “When the earthquake hit, we immediately thought of the victims—human and animal—as well as our partners who manufacture pet products in Nepal, Himalayan Dog Chews and One Pet Planet.”
