Jackson Galaxy’s Cat Camp will take place June 6 – 7 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York. The event was co-founded by Jackson Galaxy, a cat behaviorist and star on Animal Planet’s “My Cat From Hell,” and Christina Ha, proprietor of New York City’s Meow Parlour cat café.

The event, which drew in more than 5,000 attendees last year, is a celebration of love for all things feline, officials said. Cat Camp has an interactive summer camp-style, featuring educational workshops, panels, a pop-up cat café, family-friendly activities, arts and crafts, an adoptable cat area and cat-themed merchandise for sale.

Photo opportunities and book signings with “stars of the cat world” will also be available, including Jackson Galaxy and Hannah Shaw, author, kitten rescue educator and social media guru at @kittenxlady. This will be Shaw’s fourth year as a Camp Counselor.

New this year, children and teens under 18 years old can attend free when accompanied by an adult holding a ticket. Early bird sales end Jan. 1. For details, visit here.

The Petco Foundation will be sponsoring the festivities.
