Matrix Partners Honored for Website Design
Matrix Partners’ work on Charlee Bear’s website has earned the pet marketing agency a Gold Hermes Creative Award in the category of Website Design. The international awards program is geared toward professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. Entries are judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
“We are so incredibly proud of our senior graphic designer, Natalie Murawski, and all the hard work she put into ensuring that the site reflects the excitement and new branding style of Charlee Bear,” said Kristy Boulos, vice president, account supervisor of Chicago-based Matrix Partners. “We’re confident this website will appeal to Charlee Bear’s current customers, while also attracting a new audience.”
Charlee Bear, a brand of Gott Pet Products in St. Francis, Wis., makes natural treats for dogs. Its website “emulates the rebranding and new package designs that recently debuted,” said officials from Matrix Partners. The website features improved navigation and functionality, features access to detailed product information and provides a seamless user experience, officials added. The website also highlights Charlee Bear’s dedication to animal shelters and service dogs.
In addition to the Gold Hermes Award, Matrix Partners received an honorable mention in the category of Packaging Design for the new packaging they created for Charlee Bear. The latest designs provide cohesion between the Charlee Bear Original Crunch and Grain Free Crunch dog treat lines, company officials said. They also feature a window on the outside of the bags, so customers can see the treats inside. Charlee Bear’s tagline, “Beary tasty treats!”, is displayed prominently on the packaging, along with other key product information, such as “Made in the USA,” “Less than 3 calories per treat” and the individual treat flavors, officials added.
