Pet Connections Expo Adds Speaker to 2018 Show Agenda
International Conference Development (ICDevents) has added Dr. Marco Cavazzoni as a speaker at its 2018 Pet Connections Expo, which will be held Oct. 2-3 in Oaks, Pa.
Cavazzoni has been leading the international scientific committee of Farmina Pet Foods since 2012. His focus is animal nutrition and he has coordinated multiple cruelty-free scientific research studies in partnership with 10+ International Universities, including Cornell.
The title of the Doctor’s presentation is “Are Pet Foods Truly Complete and Balanced Nutrition for Carnivores?,” and it will address the true meaning of complete and balanced nutrition beyond the label.
Cavazzoni will provide an overview and comparison of different nutritional solutions for pets including raw, freeze-dried, wet, dry and homemade. The pros and cons of these nutrition forms will be explored from both clinical and scientific standpoints.
Independent retailers that attend the Expo will leave with the ability to decode the wording on product packaging and labels for their customers and offer advice on finding the correct balance between nature and science, according to the show’s organizers.
“Empowering Independent Pet Retailers to succeed is the ultimate goal of the Pet Connections Expo and we are pleased to add Dr. Marco Cavazzoni to our distinguished faculty of presenters that will address this goal,” said Bill Doherty, president of ICDevents.
This session is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 10:45 a.m.
