PetFlow Reinvents Digital Pet Store Experience

Published:

PetFlow, a retail brand of specialty pet food and supplies, unveiled a digital retail experience designed to redefine the way pet owners can care for their four-legged family members. The company rebuilt a state-of-the-art digital pet store, complete with fresh design and look, to connect consumers to a wide range of specialty pet products, offer personalized advice and enable shoppers to improve the lives of their own pets as well as those of animals in need.

“After six years and millions of deliveries, we took a step back and asked our customers how we could do more,” said Michael Lackman, PetFlow CEO. “The new PetFlow is built around what our customers told us. It’s about more than just a box—it’s about leveraging the power of personal connections and smart technology to provide the best shopping experience, while positively impacting the lives of animals with and without a loving home.”

PetFlow also introduced a charitable initiative called Good Deeds. The program donates one bowl of food to a needy pet for every box the company ships to customers. In October 2015, the program began and already has provided thousands of meals to animals waiting to be adopted into new families.

“Good Deeds goes beyond giving food to shelters,” Lackman said. “Every pet deserves a loving home, and this program is our way of channeling the collective energy of our customers so as many pets as possible enjoy that dignity.”
