Petnostics Is Latest Pet Industry Company to Appear on ‘Shark Tank’

Petnostics, maker of an at-home mobile urine test for pets, will be making its network television debut this week when founder Stephen Chen goes in front of the celebrity investor panel of ABC’s “Shark Tank” on Friday, April 15, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Using the same diagnostic technology that veterinarians use in their clinics, pet owners can check their dog or cat’s health instantly with a smart urine cup and the free Petnostics iPhone app to assess potential health issues such as urinary tract infections and diabetes. With results easily shareable to vets and at a fraction of the cost of a vet visit, Petnostics makes healthy living easier for pet families, the company states.

“Showcasing Petnostics on a national stage like Shark Tank is a huge opportunity to further our mission of improving pet health and happiness,” Chen said. “It brings us one step closer to empowering pet parents to be better informed about their pet’s health by giving them access to diagnostic technology that they can use and afford.”
