"Real Housewives of Dallas" Star Launches Pet Food

Published:

A cast member of “The Real Housewives of Dallas” is looking to break into the pet food industry with the launch of a premium dog food. Kameron Westcott conceived the idea for her company, SparkleDog LLC, during the filming of “The Real Housewives of Dallas.”

Westcott was inspired to launch the company when she noticed dog food brands were not targeted towards women, who buy the majority of all dog food. She set out and found a family-owned factory, TFP Nutrition, to make SparkleDog food. The premium grain-free dog food made in Texas. It is grain and gluten-free, made with fresh chicken with no artificial preservatives, corn or soy. SparkleDog is a premium kibble with pink heart-shaped kibbles.

In addition to providing nutrition to pets, SparkleDog also aims to help human companions. The company has partnered with the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Westcott has been involved with cancer charities for the last decade and has had many family and friends affected by the disease. Sparkle Dog LLC will donate $10,000 and potentially much more to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

SparkleDog Food is available nationally with free shipping with Amazon Prime and stores in Texas and at Vanderpump Dogs in West Hollywood, Calif.
