Seafood Extravaganza for Dogs at Cardinal Pet’s SuperZoo Booth
Cardinal Pet Care of Azusa, Calif., has cast out its fishing nets and come up with a boatload of real salmon from the coldest waters of the North Sea to add to its Pet Botanics and Crazy Dog treat brands.
To celebrate its bountiful “catch,” Cardinal will be hosting a Seafood Extravaganza in its booth (8199) at SuperZoo in Las Vegas Aug. 2-4. Local sous chef Jason de Sauce will be on hand to create delicious doggie hors d’oeuvres from the 10 new salmon products at the booth’s Cardinal Canine Café, open Tuesday and Wednesday from 1-3 p.m. The seafood menu is extensive, mouth-watering and sure to tempt any dog, the company reported. Attendees can view the menu board for demonstration times. As in any good seafood restaurant, there also are a few tempting prime rib treats for the beef eaters. A full lineup of the new culinary treats will be available for sampling, so attendees are encouraged to bring their dog or their customers to join in the celebration.
Highlighting the seafood menu are Pet Botanics’ Simply Salmon Strips and Simply Salmon Cutlets. Made from 99 percent fresh Atlantic salmon from the coldest Norwegian waters, the treats are organic and non-GMO. They contain no antibiotics, hormones or artificial flavors or colors. The salmon is flash frozen and shipped to Florida, and then smoked with the traditional Scottish method to maintain taste, color and nutritional value. Along with the tantalizing taste of real salmon, dogs will benefit from the omega-3 antioxidants salmon is known for, the company reported.
Cardinal’s also has added salmon to its Pet Botanics Training Rewards and Crazy Dog Train-Me! Treats. And there is real Alaskan salmon in the Pet Botanics Healthy Omega 5-Layer Treats.
