The Petco Foundation Kicks Off "Love Changes Everything" Campaign
The Petco Foundation has launched its national campaign that aims to raise more than $3.1 million to support lifesaving animal welfare organizations across the nation. The campaign will run through April 2.
To kick off the campaign, Petco and Unleashed by Petco stores across the country hosted “Love Changes Everything” adoption events on March 4 and March 5. The events offered pet lovers the opportunity to meet award-winning artist and creator of the heart-warming MUTTS comic strip, Patrick McDonnell.
“Patrick McDonnell is a true lifesaving champion, spending his time promoting pet adoption nationwide in addition to supporting local organizations like New York City Animal Care and Control in their mission to save lives. Patrick’s artwork designed specifically for our ‘Love Changes Everything’ campaign perfectly captures that emotional moment when you adopt a shelter animal,” said Susanne Kogut, executive director of the Petco Foundation. “This is our second year partnering with MUTTS to promote pet adoption across the country.”
Throughout the “Love Changes Everything" campaign, pet parents making a donation of $10 or more at a Petco or Unleashed by Petco store checkout will receive a reusable shopping bag featuring the MUTTS artwork.
