Upcoming Conference Focuses on Pet Care Business
The Dog Gurus, a staff training and business consulting group for the pet care industry, is set to hold its annual conference March 25-26 in Jacksonville, Fla. The Dog Gurus Summit was created to help pet care company owners and employees elevate their businesses.
“The Dog Gurus Summit was crafted specifically for pet care professionals to provide them with a fun and informative environment to connect with others and learn from experts on how to take their business to the next level of success,” said Robin Bennett, CPDT-KA, co-founder of The Dog Gurus.
The event will include panelists who will share innovations and ideas for pet care businesses and presentations from behavior specialists, according to officials. Industry leaders will also be on hand to discuss insights and business strategies, officials said.
Specifically, the Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center will present a three-hour session on service excellence culture, while Andrea Hoffer from Aha! Business Consulting and The Dog Gurus will provide tips on best practices on staff hiring and staff training.
Other topics to be discussed include powerful connections, powerful sales, powerful profits, the secrets of key performance indicators, getting and keeping new clients, and solving behavioral problems, among others.
“Owning a pet business is a rewarding dream come true for many entrepreneurs, but it also comes with many challenges,” said Susan Briggs, MA, CPACO, co-founder of The Dog Gurus. “The Dog Gurus Summit was created to help entrepreneurs gain valuable tools and insights on how to conquer the common obstacles that may occur within a pet care facility, or prevent them from happening to begin with. Bring your staff and go home energized and ready to soar.”
