WIPIN Releases Spring 2015 Top Women in the Pet Industry Magazine
Women in the Pet Industry Network (WIPIN), the organization focused on women working in the pet industry, has released the spring 2015 issue of its Top Women in the Pet Industry Magazine, a digital guide to pet-related services, products, associations and publications.
The spring 2015 issue (available for free viewing here), in its sixth edition, features profiles on 50 women making their mark in the pet industry, is a collection of stories and photos that are encouraging, candid and sometimes humorous. Each story reveals why she’s achieved success and how she is making life better for pets, pet parents and industry peers. Many include recollections of and tributes to the pet(s) that inspired the birth of a product, service or career.
“It allows us to showcase the talent and leadership of women doing amazing things out front and behind the scenes of the pet industry,” said Shawna Shuh, president and publisher. “Of special interest in the Spring 2015 issue is the addition of broader articles that offer readers additional tips on how to grow their businesses.”
“The cover was chosen by WIPIN members in the third annual cover contest held earlier this year,” Schuh added. The design, by Michele Helwig Nelson of The Original Pet-Pal in Castle Rock, Colo., aims to represent the joy WIPIN members have in their pet-related work, Schuh said.
The issue includes advertisements for products and services offered by dozens of innovative pet industry women throughout North America and in New Zealand. Since its creation in 2012, Top Women in the Pet Industry Magazine has reached an audience surpassing three million.
