WPA Asks Pet Retailers to Snap and Share Their Good Works

Published:

Georgia’s TailsSpin Pet Food & Accessories teams with a local elementary school, a veterinary oncologist and Fleet Feet retailer to host the annual Woof-Woof 5K Walk/Run Over Pet Cancer. The event raises funding for the Blue Buffalo Foundation for Cancer Research, the local Hope Chest Charitable Foundation and area rescue agencies.

Post a photo on social media of your pet retail business doing “good works” for a chance to win $1,000 donated in your name to a charity supported by the World Pet Association (WPA).

The contest, “Show Us Your Good Works,” part of the WPA’s Good Works Initiative, asks pet retailers to post a photo on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram of their business doing charitable, giveback, cause-oriented works in their community using #WPAGoodWorks.

Contest Rules

  • Entrants must tag SuperZoo and use #WPAGoodWorks in their post
  • Photos must be posted by Wednesday, July 20
  • Entrants must be businesses within the pet industry
  • Entrants must attend SuperZoo and the show's networking event to win

The deadline for entries is July 20, and the winner will be announced Aug. 2 at SuperZoo 2016 in Las Vegas. The winner will be notified via social media prior to SuperZoo to choose their charity and ensure they will attend the networking event.
