Women in the Pet Industry to Host Networking Event at SuperZoo
To help, support and encourage the rapidly growing female influence in the pet industry, Women in the Pet Industry Network (WIPIN) will host a reception at SuperZoo open to all pet professionals, especially women.
The reception will be held on July 26 from 5–7 p.m. in the Islander Ballroom – H, which is in the North Convention Center at Mandalay Bay.
The reception is open to everyone who is either exhibiting or attending SuperZoo. The event will feature a panel of industry experts talking about Trade Show Secrets from Pet Industry Insiders. The panel discussion will begin at 6.
The panelists include: Exhibitors Penny Johnson, CEO of Sturdi Products; Julie Holmes, vice president of Unique Natural Pet Products; and Gila Kurtz, co-founder of Dog is Good. Suppliers to the industry will also be in attendance, including: Lea Ann Germinder with Good News for Pets and Good News for Pets Digital; Candace D’Agnolo, owner of Pet Boss Nation; Terran Bayer, owner of Westway Studio; and Phil Chang with Hubba. The panel will be moderated by J. Nichole Smith owner of Working with Dog.
Other items of interest will be introductions of finalists for the upcoming Pet Industry Woman of the Year Award.
