Wondercide Adds to its Marketing Team

Wondercide in Austin, Texas welcomed two new hires to its team. 

Dana Such was named vice president of marketing and Mike Schmidt was appointed senior director of brand.

“Wondercide has never done things the traditional way and it’s helped us stand out in the industry and grow rapidly,” said Stephanie Boone, founder and CEO of Wondercide. “The hires of Dana and Mike reinforce this mindset, as both bring expertise from outside of the pet industry and will lend an exciting new perspective to help us evolve and expand.

As the vice president of marketing, Such will be utilizing her extensive experience in acquiring, engaging, retaining and monetizing consumer relationships to not only continue but accelerate the double-digit growth Wondercide has seen year-over-year.

Such joins Wondercide from the membership-based travel company Hideaway Report, having previously managed audience development for Saga City Media and Texas Monthly. 
Schmidt will leverage his wealth of knowledge on brand strategies and consumer insights as the new senior director of brand.

Schmidt previously worked at Austin agency McGarrah Jessee, and has spent a decade working with several prominent brands, including Nordstrom, Cheerios and Frost Bank. 

Such and Schmidt bring invaluable marketing experience and leadership to a fast-growing Wondercide team driven to maintaining its impressive momentum, according to company officials.
