Woof Gang Bakery Names Top Franchises

Kathy and Don Jourdan, owners of Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Westlake in Texas, are Millionaire Club award winners. This award goes to those franchises with annual gross sales of $1 million or more.

Woof Gang Bakery recently awarded top honors to its exceptional franchises, based on the previous year’s sales figures.

“In such telling times as these, with brick-and-mortar stores, it’s so exciting to recognize that a brand like Woof Gang Bakery is thriving,” said Paul Allen, CEO of Woof Gang Bakery, which has 130 locations across the United States and is based in Orlando, Fla. “We are awestruck by the resiliency and dedication of our franchise owners who work diligently to build their businesses and adapt to necessary operational changes. We are wholly impressed by our franchisees turning challenges into opportunities to innovate new solutions and grow the business and the brand.”

The awards are broken down into several categories: Millionaire Club, Franchise of the Year, Outstanding Grooming Store, Outstanding Retail Store, Most Improved Franchise, Outstanding New Store and Woof Gang Bakery Leadership Award.

The award-winning Woof Gang Bakery franchises include:

Millionaire Club, which includes those with annual gross sales of $1 million or more:

  • Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Raleigh and Woof Gang Bakery Cary in North Carolina—franchise owners Elise and Michael Morales
  • Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming The Villages in Florida—Beth and Woody Whitcomb
  • Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Midland in Texas—Brenda and Iram Molinar
  • Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Westlake in Texas—Kathy and Don Jourdan
  • Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Las Vegas in Nevada—Chin Li Kouk and Richard Hansen
  • Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Fleming Island in Florida—Mary and Pete Hardin

Franchise of the Year, which is based on business growth, passion for the brand, customer service and ongoing contribution to the franchise system:

Outstanding Grooming Store

  • Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Ridgewood in New Jersey—Maureen Barrett

Outstanding New Store

  • Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming The Woodlands in Texas—Kelly Ross

Woof Gang Bakery Leadership Award, which is a new honor that is awarded to a team member who demonstrates a passion for Woof Gang Bakery and excels at promoting and supporting the brand as a whole:

  • Rubens Campos, franchise owner of multiple locations in Florida.

“Through his strong leadership and mentorship, Rubens has built solid, supportive, encouraging and empowering relationships with many others in the Woof Gang Bakery organization,” officials said in a statement.”

In 2013, Campos started the Woof Gang private label brand that provides products to stores company-wide. Campos operates five central Florida Woof Gang Bakery stores with a sixth store opening soon, according to officials. He opened some of his stores as new franchise locations and assumed ownership of other existing stores that needed extra care and attention. His locations include two stores in Winter Park, two in Windermere, one in Winter Garden and a brand-new Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming opening soon in the community of Hamlin.
