Radio Systems Corp. Names New CEO
Radio Systems Corp., maker of PetSafe, SportDOG and Invisible Fence brands, has named Willie Wallace as its new CEO.
Wallace, a 15-year veteran of the company and former chief operating officer, will be assuming the role from the company’s founder and long-time CEO Randy Boyd, who will remain as executive chairman. Boyd concurrently announced he will be serving Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam as commissioner of economic and community development.
“I have total confidence in Willie and the management team at Radio Systems to continue our company’s success, and look forward to serving our state to help start, grow and attract jobs for those who we are educating as a result of the Governor’s Drive to 55,” said Boyd. “Willie led our team through a very successful 2013 when I served as special advisor on higher education to the governor.”
