How’s business going?

In general, it has slowed down quite a bit, being that the holidays are over. Business is slow right now. Compared to what everyone else is suffering though, we’re doing OK. People are coming in on a daily basis. We also have another company that rents part of the property: Courtesy Canine. They were slammed in December, but they’re slow right now. Last month was crazy; this is kind of the slow time of year.

What’s new?

Recently, we started carrying Bravo, a brand of dog food.  It’s a raw diet – the real stuff. It’s really good stuff, it has all the stuff dogs usually require. It has all the vitamins, meat, and everything they need. We can’t keep it on the shelves.

We just upgraded to a new register. Workflow and organization are much better. We are working on creating a website, too, so I’ve been very busy with that.

What are your best-sellers?

Our best sellers include dog food, California Natural, Bravo (hard to keep on shelves), Alpine leashes and collars.
