How’s business going?
Really good. We’re doing well.
Any pickup in business?
It’s been pretty steady. We’re still not selling as many toys as we used to, but everything else is holding firm
What’s new?
Not so many new promotions. We’re always bringing in new treats, toys and couple new foods: Honest kitchen, Natural Planet Organics. Business keeps going that way. We’ve been here forever, so we have very loyal customers.
We have always gone with the high-end holistic stuff. We started back in the ‘90s, and people said you couldn’t do it with all-natural holistics, and we’re still here. More people seem to be coming over to our side.
We have homeopathic stuff; all the top name brands in food. We pride ourselves in the fact that we can help you decide what’s best for your animal. That’s the benefit of being a very small store.
Biggest seller?
K9 Caviar is our biggy right now. It has just taken off in the last two years. It’s our best selling food right now. --EM

How’s business?
It’s been really well. We’ve been open for 3½ years, and we’ve continued to grow each month.
This holiday season was better than last year’s holiday season, and we’ve been pleased with what we’ve seen.
What’s new?
We’ve recently brought in Isabella Cane collars, which are new to us and have done really well.
We have Mulligan Stew food—the new baked kibble—which has been going very well.
We do lots of events in the store. We had a great session last month from a dog behaviorist in town called ‘The Feisty Fido.’ Feisty Fido is for dogs that are reactive to other dogs. We had a great meeting with 30 people here.
We do educational workshops—usually monthly—at no charge. We usually ask for donations for what our featured rescue group is. --KI
