Treat Suite Pet Boutique
Update: Sayville, NY
Lori Bainbridge, Co-Owner
How’s business going?
It’s all right. Well, it’s a change of season, so it’s hard to answer that. For Christmas, large, extra large dog hoodies were the best seller. We carry cloths, toys, shampoos, treats…we have a fresh doggie bakery.
Has business been affected by the holidays?
Yeah, January, February are generally a lot less than November, December.
Any trends in your business?
I would have to say, people are looking for things made in the USA or that are all-natural. All-natural treats, foods, things like that are doing well.
Anything new?
We’ve switched to New Pal, some newer toys that came out. We recently added bird toys. I have a big interest in bird toys. We only did dog and cat, and I just brought it in within the last month. I don’t have enough of a time span to tell you how well they will do, but as soon as I put them out, they started to sell. --EM

How’s business?
It has been going really well. We opened in 2005 in December, and we’ve showed continuous growth ever since we opened. We have a real sense of community in our store, so people can come to us for customer support and customer service.
We have a great relationship with our clients
What’s new?
We’re always are having new treats and new toys.
We’re doing a lot more meet-and-greets with rescues. We have animal communication classes and animal communications that we do every month as well. We also do Reiki workshops. We also have a holistic vet that comes once a month to do acupuncture and chiropractic [services]. --KI
