How’s business going?

It’s slow right now. No, I haven’t seen any improvement in the last year. It’s slowed way down. I’m in a depressed area. Business has slowed way down over the last year.

Any trends in your business? What’s selling well?

I haven’t seen any trends, other than it’s going slow. It’s summer time too. Summer is normally pretty slow. Fish are selling well. All kinds are selling well, mainly feeder fish are selling right now.

Anything new?

We got a little bit of everything. We carry, fish, snakes lizards, cats, dogs, reptiles, saltwater, freshwater, all kinds of pets. We do a little bit of everything. Freshwater is selling better. It’s always fresh. We’ve had a little bit of success with the saltwater stuff. It’s slow. People just need more money. We carry all kinds of birds, parakeets, cockatiels, finches, smaller birds mostly.

What is you bestselling livestock?

Goldfish and guppies are doing well. Saltwater is slow right now. Everything else is pretty slow, too.  --EM
