How’s business going?
So far so good. We’re still around. That counts, right? Business is totally dead compared to a year ago. The summer is normally a slow time of year down here. It’s too hot. People leave for somewhere else, cold weather.
Any trends in your business? What’s selling well?
Pretty much it is the same. I’m not seeing any trends. What I like a lot lately is some type of gel for the dog’s mouth. That’s the one thing I can think of that I really like.
Anything new?
Yeah, we always try to improve our product offerings. We pick up new stuff, new leashes, new collars, new shampoos, things like that.
I’m doing advertisements that I didn’t do before. I’m advertising in a local magazine. I’m also handing out cards and flyers.
Do you sell livestock? What are your bestsellers?
I do sell pets. I take special orders. Special dogs, that’s me. We also sell cats, anything that moves. Horses, whatever you want. Mostly I deal with cats and dogs. We don’t sell fish. --EM
