The Feeding Friend is an automatic feeder and waterer designed to prevent ants from infesting food. The food is raised above the water tray and positioned to keep food from falling into the water bowl and to promote proper digestion. The water bowl hooks up to a garden hose to maintain water level, according to the company. This feeder attracted our attention because of its simplicity and convenience—and the fact that it incorporates several good ideas, especially for the outdoor pet.
