Petsmart Inc. of Phoenix, Ariz.,  has promoted Bruce Thorn to the position of senior vice president, supply chain. Thorn had previously served as vice president, supply chain.

As senior V.P., Thorn reports to Joe O’Leary, senior vice president of merchandising and supply chain. Thorn is responsible for overseeing all areas of the supply chain, including inventory replenishment and planning, supply chain solutions, transportation and the company’s network of distribution centers.

Thorn joined Petsmart in 2007 as vice president of supply chain solutions, before becoming vice president of supply chain last year.

Prior to joining Petsmart, Thorn served as chief operating officer for Lesco Inc., a public company in the professional turf care industry. He previously held leadership roles with Gap Inc., Cintas Corp., and the U.S. Army. <HOME>
