In his new role, Selman will manage all aspects of the company’s business. Selman joined Lone Star Pet Supply in December 2000. He was promoted to director of sales in 2003 and became vice president and general manager in 2007.

Company chairman and CEO Dennis Stahl, whose title was previously president and CEO, said Selman has “done a great job in leading the company over the past several years.” Specifically, Stahl, who owns the company with his wife, Anna, said Selman has improved operating efficiencies, was instrumental in repositioning the company’s pet food business and has developed exciting new business opportunities.
