SmartTag Now on TV and in Petsmart
LittleGifts is running a TV campaign for its SmartTag pet ID, which is now available in Petsmart stores nationwide.
LittleGifts Inc., a Secaucus, N.J.-based manufacturer of pet products and giftware, kicked off a national television campaign for its SmartTag pet recovery system in late-June.

The TV campaign consists of 60-second and 120-second direct response infomercial-style spots that offer viewers a SmartTag pet ID and one year of recovery service for $19.95. The spots will air on a variety of cable networks that target pet owners. To support the campaign, LittleGifts has cre ated a new website, www.smarttags.com, where visitors can view the infomercial spot and purchase the product package. The campaign is slated to run through September.

In related news, SmartTag hit Petsmart stores in mid-June. The product is merchandized in the “As Seen on TV” endcap display, according to LittleGifts. The company planned to drive retail sales with advertising in Dog Fancy magazine, a Pet Product News International sister publication, trial promotions and in-store demonstrations.  <HOME>
