The Company of Animals Revamps Packaging, Website and Logo
The Company of Animals, a U.K.-based manufacturer of dog behavior and training products, unveiled today a new look for its product packaging, U.S. website and company logo. Each has been redesigned to be more customer-friendly, according to the company.
“This year, our goal is to connect even closer with pet owners when they’re shopping or using our products,” said Liz McGuinness, marketing and business development manager for The Company of Animals.
The company has color-coded its product packaging to designate it as one of four product categories—training (yellow), safety (green), care and grooming (pink) and fun and games (orange). In addition, each product’s primary function is highlighted on the package. For example, the Halti Headcollar features a “Stops Pulling” call-out.
“When confronted by a wall of different training, recreation and behavior correction products, most pet owners don’t have a clue which one to choose,” McGuinness said. “These new packages will go a long way toward addressing this issue.”
The newly designed website, includes a detailed products section, company news and an expanded training tips section. Dr. Roger Mugford, company founder and pet behaviorist, is prominently featured throughout the site. A section called “Meet the Doctor” provides visitors with specifics about Mugford’s background, the organizations he supports, recent appearances and upcoming events.
“This newly redesigned website makes it easier for our visitors to use,” said McGuinness. “It also showcases Dr. Mugford and his dog training credentials more effectively.”
Lastly, the new The Company of Animals logo incorporates graphics of cat and dog silhouettes in the word “Animals.” The new logo better communicates the company’s mission of helping pets, McGuinness said.<HOME>
