The National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) is accepting nominations for its Pet Sitting Business of the Year Award for 2011. The deadline to submit a nomination is Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010.
The Pet Sitting Business of the Year Award is presented annually to a NAPPS member who “has demonstrated outstanding business practices and who has a vision to grow and expand their business.” Pet sitters and owners can nominate a pet sitting business by completing a form on NAPPS’ website. Nominees will have to complete a comprehensive application and answer certain questions about their businesses.
The NAPPS Pet Sitting Business of the Year Selection Committee, which comprises NAPPS members, will determine the winner. The Mt. Laurel, N.J.-based organization expects to announce the winning business in early November.
The winner will receive complimentary registration, lodging and transportation for NAPPS’ 2011 annual conference in New Orleans. Past winners include Inko’s Exemplary Pet Care Services of Naples, Fla., (2010), Terrapin Pets of Beltsville, Md. (2009), The Purrfect Nanny of Atlanta (2008), and Bella’s House & Pet Sitting of Scottsdale, Ariz. (2007). <HOME>
