World’s Best Cat Litter Brings Charity Campaign to West Coast
World’s Best Cat Litter, a brand of cat litter made by GPC Pet Products of Muscatine, Iowa, is taking its GiveLitter charity program to Los Angeles.
From now until Nov. 8 the public can go online to either www.givelitter.com or www.facebook.com/worldsbestcatlitter and vote daily for one of three Los Angeles-area animal organizations to receive a donation of World’s Best Cat Litter.
Voters can select the following organizations: Alley Cat Allies with Baldwin Park Animal Shelter; Cat House on the Kings; and Kitten Rescue.
For every vote cast on GiveLitter.com , World’s Best pledges to donate 1/10th of a pound of cat litter to the selected shelter. For every person who becomes a fan of World’s Best Cat Litter Facebook page, the company pledges to donate one pound of litter to the fan’s selected shelter. Subsequent votes cast on Facebook are worth 1/10th of a pound of litter.
“We invite animal lovers everywhere to become a part of the GiveLitter charity and help these Los Angeles animal shelters as they work tirelessly to address community needs,” said Paul Zobel, senior director of marketing for World’s Best Cat Litter.
World’s Best Cat Litter launched the GiveLitter charity program earlier this summer in Washington, D.C. World’s Best Cat Litter reported that it donated 5,255 pounds of litter to D.C.-area shelters as a result of that initial leg of the campaign.
