Pet Socialite Events plans to host a pet product showcase on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, in New York City. The “No Place Like Home” showcase is designed to provide pet boutique owners, pet product buyers and the press with access to the latest indoor and outdoor pet products from a select group of companies.

“Pet parents are spending more time at home with their pets and the demand for stylish yet functional products is on the rise,” said Charlotte Reed, co-founder of Pet Socialite Inc. and author of “The Miss Fido Manners Complete Book of Dog Etiquette.” “We’re excited to showcase new products that will help pet lovers with solutions to everyday issues, but also be able to visually enjoy their indoor and outdoor environments.”

About 150 attendees and 25 companies are expected to participate in the event, which will take place at the InterContinental New York Barclay hotel in midtown Manhattan. Companies that have already signed on to exhibit are Bamboo Pet, Bissell, CitiKitty, Cozy Puff Dog Beds, Designer Catbox, EcoSmart, Fisher-Price/Mattel, Furminator, Hartz, Isle of Dogs, Jax and Bones, John Ritzenthaler Co., Kyjen, Pet Acoustics, Pioneer Pet Products, PlanetWise Products, Premier Pet Products, R2 Fish School, Rabbit Air, Sturdi Products, Thundershirt, Unleashed Life, William Secord Gallery, and Yep Yup.

In addition to the product showcase, attendees will also be able to check out a pet bedroom suite designed by Reed. The special display will feature products made by exhibiting companies. Also, Reed will be on hand to speak about pet product trends for winter and early spring as well as last minute holiday gift ideas.
