Love Adds Up Campaign Goes National
Wiscuit, a Littleton, Colo.-based company that aims to support canine health and welfare by organizing fundraising and public awareness campaigns, has taken its Love Adds Up campaign nationwide.
As part of the campaign, Wiscuit donates a portion of the profits from the sale of Love Adds Up stickers and magnets to various canine welfare organizations. The items feature an illustration of a dog and person sketched by company founder Kelly Kaliszewski and include the phrase, “Love Adds Up!” Kaliszewski said the illustration, as well as the cause itself, was inspired by her dog Cain, who died last November from cancer.
“It is a simple drawing representing the love Cain brought into my life. Love, pure and simple.” she said. “Sadly, Cain died just a few months later. Now this sketch can help promote the unconditional love of dogs on cars, scooters, strollers, refrigerators, suitcases, etc., while helping to make a real impact in the lives of needy dogs.”
Kaliszewski aims to sell one million items through the Love Adds Up campaign. She pledges to donate 50 percent to the cause—25 percent to cancer research and treatment and another 25 percent to general canine welfare organizations.
Since the campaign launched on a local level in May, Wiscuit has donated nearly $3,000 to Colorado State University’s Animal Cancer Center, Best Friends Animal Society, Morris Animal Foundation and other organizations, Kaliszewski said.
Stickers and magnets are available at wholesale to retailers. Individuals may purchase the items directly at www.wishcuit.com. <HOME>
