Stella & Chewy’s of Muskego, Wis., TropiClean of St. Louis and PetSafe of Knoxville, Tenn., have joined the “Following Atticus” book tour.

The three companies have donated products for gift baskets that will be raffled off at each stop along the tour, which kicks off Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011. Stella & Chewy’s raw, freeze-dried pet food, Tropiclean’s Fresh Breath CleanTeeth Gel and Petsafe’s new Lickety Stik liquid treat are among the donated products.
Two gift baskets will be raffled off at each stop of the tour. All proceeds raised from the raffle will go to local animal shelters.
“Following Atticus” is story about author Tom Ryan and his miniature schnauzer Atticus M. Finch’s attempt to climb all forty-eight of New Hampshire's four-thousand-foot peaks twice in one winter while raising money for charity.
But ultimately, it’s a story of transformation: How a five-pound puppy pierced the heart of a tough-as-nails newspaperman, opening his eyes to the world’s beauty and its possibilities, according to the book’s publisher, William Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers.
