The National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, a nonprofit trade association based in Mt. Laurel, N.J., elected Tiffany Hammer-Manson and Cyndy Lippert to its board of directors, effective Jan. 1, 2012.
Hammer-Manson is the owner and manager of White Rock Pet Services in Dallas and has been a NAPPS member since 2009. Lippert, the founder and chief officer of Whiskers & Wags Professional Pet Sitting in Killingworth, Conn., won the 2010 NAPPS Member in Action Award.
The trade group also elected new officers: president John D’Ariano of A Pet Sitter Plus of Boynton Beach, Fla.; past president Monica Leighton of Professional Pet Sitting in Venice, Fla.; president-elect Sherry Suhosky of Jack Rapid Runners LLC in Placitas, N.M.; secretary Yvette Gonzales of As You Wish LLC in Highlands Ranch, Colo., and treasurer Kristen Burton of Your Best Friend Pet Sitting in Hamlin, Pa.
