The American Pet Products Association and the Pet Industry Distributors Association unveiled the top new products and booths from this year’s Global Pet Expo in Orlando, Fla., with Ware Manufacturing coming out as the big winner with the top product in three categories and five awards in all.
Marty Becker, DVM, announced the products at a ceremony in the New Product Showcase late Thursday afternoon. Products in nine categories were recognized. See list.
In addition, Dr. Becker announced the best booth awards for Global Pet Expo 2012.
Rolf C. Hagen (USA) Corp. earned the first place for large booth (400 square feet or larger) and Kurgo Products took first place for best small booth (300 square feet or less).
Petsafe (Radio Systems Corp.) took second place for large booths and American Farms (Premium Pet Health) placed second for small booths.
