Pet food manufacturer Addiction completed an upgrade of its manufacturing plant in Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, and started a private label division, the Kent, Wash.-based company reported today.
The upgrade increased the overall capacity of the plant by more than thirtyfold and allows the company to produce a greater variety of pet food. Addiction is now the largest export-ready manufacturer of extruded kibble in New Zealand, the company reported.
Dry food products currently manufactured in the New Zealand plant include all Salmon Bleu
products (grain-free), Viva La Venison (Cat, grain-free), Le Lamb and La Porchetta. Addiction exports foods to the United States, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Korea.
Addiction’s new private label division specializes in the production of dry foods and treats for cats and dogs. The company can customize the nutritional contents of its private label products according to a client’s specifications.<HOME>
