Matrix Partners, a Chicago public relations and advertising firm, collaborated with Bravo on the changes.

The updates will be rolled out throughout 2014, Bravo reported.

The new logo retains a bright red color but uses what the company termed "a softer, more approachable font.” In addition, a dog or cat silhouette above the Bravo name will differentiate the products.

"These illustrated pets feature an activated color palette to signify the brand’s various nutritional benefits,” Bravo added.

The slogan "make good happen” is intended to "reflect the company’s commitment to offer only the finest quality, healthiest and tastiest dinners and treats for pets.” It addition, the slogan is designed to "communicate the brand’s feel-good mission and ongoing commitment to the community and rescue shelters” and "resonate with the brand’s target market.”

All Bravo products will get new packaging in 2014. The company explained the packaging changes as being "tailored to create a billboard effect when merchandised, with appropriate violators and highlighted sales points to distinguish each product’s protein, purpose and benefits.”
