For anyone in corporate America looking to break into the pet industry—and why wouldn’t they want a piece of a growing multibillion-dollar-a-year industry—startup International Pet Group just might be a godsend.
For starters, the new Las Vegas-based company specializes in licensing and promotion of pet-centric products on behalf of larger commercial brands.
Launched around SuperZoo, IPG is the brainchild of pet industry insiders David Ezra, who is IPG’s CEO, and Yaniv Rosenberg, who is president of the company.
Prior to their latest collaboration, Ezra and Rosenberg introduced several successful pet products, including the Sealy Dog Bed and dogPACER treadmills, and now they want to do the same for industry outsiders looking in.
"We have parallel goals with our licensor partners to not only increase new revenue streams, but also expand their brand awareness and goodwill in the consumer market,” Rosenberg said.
