| The Nightshift band will be one of the entertainment acts at the 30th Interzoo anniversary party on Saturday night. |
Organizers now expect more than 1,400 exhibitors from more than 50 countries will display pet products in Interzoo’s largest display area ever--about 960,000 square feet in all—at next month’s trade show in Nuremberg, Germany, May 22-25.
In line with its largest event ever and its 30th anniversary, organizers are planning a major Saturday night anniversary bash. Priced at 40 Euros (about $64), the party will include buffets (both Bavarian/German fair and international cuisine from many of the exhibiting nations); draught beer, wine and soft drinks; and various entertainment.
Entertainment will range from live music to German cultural groups (from cow bells to rhythmic whip cracking) to carnival games.
In other Interzoo news, the German Pet Trade and Industry Association (ZZF), the honorary sponsor of Interzoo, will release its pet supplies training manual during the event. The manual offers basic and continuing education for the pet supplies trade.
The ZZF’s grooming group is sponsoring several grooming demonstrations and talks at booth 4-329 in hall 4, including how-tos for trimming schnauzers, poodles, beaver Yorkies, mixed Yorkies, border terriers and Cocker spaniels. The group will also offer information on the “ZZF-qualified pet care assistant” examination. <HOME>
