Danish Brewing Company Holds Pet Fashion Competition
10-12-2009

The Danish brewing company Carlsberg is getting in on the fun our industry has been having with a pet fashion competition.

The competition is being held as part of the company’s launch of its new Carlsberg Export Premium PET (polyethylene therephthalate) bottle, which according to the company has less of an impact on the environment than regular glass bottles.

For the Premium PET Collection competition, Carlsberg challenged five Swedish fashion designers to create pet fashion looks. Their designs, which range from whimsical to edgy, can be viewed at www.PremiumPet.se.

The winner will be selected by the public and a “jury” assembled by the company. Members of the public have until Oct. 21 to vote for their favorite designsn at www.PremiumPet.se.  The public’s vote is equivalent to two votes, while the four jury members will each have one vote.
