Hollywood Premier Pets Celebrates Opening with Red Carpet Adoptive Event
10-27-2009

Palm Desert, Calif., is getting a taste of Hollywood glamour with the opening of Hollywood Premier Pets.

To celebrate, the pet boutique and spa is partnering with Animal Samaritans SPCA, a nonprofit animal shelter in Thousand Palms, to adopt 30 dogs on Nov. 7 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Competitors from seasons one and two of Animal Planet’s “Groomer Has It” will provide spa services to the homeless dogs in hopes of finding loving new homes for them. All dogs will be spayed or neutered and have a microchip.

The 5,000-square-foot facility, imagined and created by Planet Hollywood interior designer Randy Rio, offers pedicures, facials, hydro-massage and aromatherapy. Other services include the “Splash ‘n Dash Club,” a program that provides unlimited grooming starting at $39.95 per month, a “Licker Bar,” where samples of doggie delicacies are presented, and “Mingle Nights,” which take place once a month for dogs and their owners.

Hollywood Premier Pets also offers premium pet foods, treats and accessories for both dogs and cats. Franchise opportunities are expected to be available starting early 2010. For details on the adoptive event, visit www.hollywoodpremierpets.com.
