Organizers for the 10th China International Pet Show, held in Beijing in October, reports it sold out its available space more than a month before the show and turned some potential exhibitors away.
The organizers, including China Great Wall International Exhibition Co. Ltd., Nuernburg Global Fairs GmbH, and the Guangdong and Hong Kong aquarium associations, hope that the left-out exhibitors will be able to book space for CIPS ’07, next year’s trade fair scheduled for Guangzhou.
Over its 10 years, CIPS has expanded total exhibit space from about 43,000 square feet to nearly 270,000 square feet for this year’s event.
The number of exhibitors has grown from 86 to more than 400 coming from 20 countries, including Australia, Brazil, China, Germany, India and the United States.
Organizers expect visitors will come from more than 50 countries to attend this year’s trade show, which they promote as Asia’s “largest and most influential international pet and aquarium product trade show.”
