Rembold Returns to Doskocil

Larry Rembold is once again chief executive officer of Doskocil Manufacuring Inc., replacing the retiring Gary Baughman, who held the position for six years.
Rembold previously served as chief executive officer of Petmate’s parent company from 1999 to 2001 and had served on its board of director since 1997.
Most recently, Rembold was chief executive officer of Candle Lamp Co. in Riverside, Calif., which like Doskocil is a portfolio company of private equity group Westar Capital of Costa Mesa, Calif.
