The Eco version of the Litter-Robot—the only self-cleaning litter box made in the United States—utilizes 100-percent post-consumer materials in the base, globe and waste-drawer components, according to the company. Designed to work with a multitude of litters, including a variety of biodegradable litters, it features a sifting system to separate clumps from the clean, dry litter. By using the Litter-Robot, cat owners who used to scoop their litter boxes multiple times each day now only need to remove a standard kitchen-type garbage bag from the waste drawer once or twice a week, the manufacturer reports.
